ARB On The Cover Review: 2010 Lincoln C Concept
Car? Station wagon? Hatchback? SUV? Hard to say. But the Lincoln C Concept is pretty much what you would expect a modern concept car to be. It’s a little strange—too ugly to go into production, but not so far out there that there isn’t potential. The interior isn’t something you’re likely to see in showrooms, what with the ultra thin, floral-themed white seats and floating steering wheel. A creepy, green-eyed lady pops up on the IP to narrate Ford’s Sync feature; nice for the concept, but she might freak out the normal everyday customer. What the C may signify is a direction Lincoln could go with a small, luxurious vehicle. Lincoln is supposed to be an aspirational brand, but these days, people don’t aspire to drive Town Cars. Maybe a practical, roomy, efficient commuter vehicle will indicate that Lincoln understands what younger professionals are looking for.
