On The Cover Review: 2011 GMC Sierra All Terrain HD Concept

General Motors was a little light on concept vehicles this year, but at least the GMC Sierra All Terrain HD Concept brought a little flash to their display.  This was by no means a radical machine; more like a worked-over Sierra 2500 HD.  Still, it may give us a glimpse into the future.  This blocky sheet metal with new shorter overhangs may very well predict the next-generation Sierra.  Of course, the idea of a luxurious off-roader isn’t new.  And the volatility of fuel prices lately make a recreation-centric concept like this one a little bit old-fashioned.  But as long as there are hunters, boaters, construction workers, and well-heeled tough guys, there will always be a market for a truck like this.  Plus, it would look great in a new Fall Guy TV series reincarnation.  Stunt man/bounty hunters will love it.
